Several years ago, I fell in love with fused glass arts, and since then it has become my therapy and outlet for ideas and creativity. I love to learn, create, experiment and more. My glass collection at home is growing, and I love to make glass creations for gifts.
After much experimentation, I find that I really love making glass garden art, suncatchers and window sill art. Basically anything to catch and enhance the light from the sun. My love of animals have also led me to create animal portraits with colored glass. I have done actual portraits of people's pets - dogs and cats, and I really enjoy bringing the animals to life in glass. I am still working on taking pictures that really show off this art. I also have lots of fun with other animals and my favorites so far are donkeys and elephants but there are many others!
There is so much inspiration around us in our beautiful world, and I will find myself often thinking "Can I recreate this in glass?" Sometimes it may be an picture of the inspiration, and other times it may be the emotion of the inspiration. Other times, the glass itself is the inspiration of my piece.
I currently am selling my glass arts at a local craft shop - Sunflower Boutique in Edmonds WA - as well at a local Animal Shelter where 20% of sales is donated to Homeward Pet in Woodinville WA. If you are interested in anything you see here on this website, please contact me at
Oh! Why did I choose the name of Squirrel Glass Arts? Well, I love all animals including squirrels that I enjoy watching daily in my yard, at my squirrel feeder. I am also told that I "Squirrel" very often when I get side tracked and change subjects! So, there we are! Squirrel is me! And this is my art!
